Job Responsibilities
- Taking drink orders and preparing the customer’s drink.
- Making recommendations to customers based on preference, when asked.
- Checking identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
- Taking inventory of all stock – consumables and non-consumables – and alerting your supervisor of what you might need.
- Processing all cash and credit/debit transactions, ensuring that charges are accurate using a POS.
- Daily set up and breakdown of bar area and properly storing products during closed hours.
- Daily bar preparations included but not limited to restocking and fruit cutting.
- Bar set up in advance of the event.
Job Requirements:
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to use electronic POS (primarily iPad/tablet based)
- Ability to handle cash
- Positive, engaging personality and professional experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for an extended period and lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- RAMP Certification is preferred.
- Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 5 shifts (a single shift is defined as a scheduled 5 hours) for a total of 25 hours over the course of Musikfest, to be eligible to receive the bonus.
