General Labor- Greenhouse Associate

Job Title: Greenhouse Associate (Propagation/ Nursery)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Associate to join our cultivation team. The ideal candidate will assist with planting, cloning, maintaining, and harvesting cannabis plants in a greenhouse environment. This role requires hands-on plant care, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Prepare bays for planting, empty pot with soil, fill with clean soil, and place plants in 1-gallon plots in each bay o Jiffys.
• Maintain the crop defoliating, establishing
• Irrigation control and plant handling
• Add or remove trellis net in selected bays
• Transfer plant from tables to carts
• Clean bays with Sanidate using appropriate EPP
• Make plant samples
• Maintenance of mother plants and young plants
• Transfer clones to different tables, bays, and farms
• Cut clones and plant
• Pinch plants for growth accountability
• Use required PPE per OSHA regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a greenhouse, nursery, or agricultural environment is preferred; candidates with plant propagation or cultivation experience are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with planting, cloning, defoliation, and general plant care techniques is essential.
• Experience with irrigation systems, trellis netting, and proper plant handling is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced greenhouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining plant quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Must be able to lift, move, and handle plants and materials as needed throughout the workday.
• Willingness to follow PPE, sanitation, and OSHA safety requirements at all times.
• A positive attitude and dedication to supporting a healthy, productive cultivation environment

Education and/or Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a greenhouse environment is preferred but not required

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Flexible availability for work hours
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude
• This position requires a 40-hour minimum workweek. Willingness to work weekends and holidays if necessary
