Key job responsibilities include:
- Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using hand tools and testing instruments to supply electrical power for lighting and equipment operations in a continuing care community. Work will involve alterations and construction.
- Inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits and equipment as per policies and procedures.
- Repair electrical circuits and equipment as per work orders.
- Demo and install kitchen cabinets, hot water heaters, and garbage disposals as needed.
- Replace faulty switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, insulators, and other simple elements of electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances as per work orders.
- Responsible to drive so as to make deliveries and pick–ups as required.
- Perform snow removal when requested.
- Full-Time 8:00am-4:30pm with on call every fourth week.
- Trade or vocational school graduate.
- Completed four year apprenticeship or equivalent experience and two years’ commercial experience preferred.
- HVAC repair experience.
- Building maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
