Responsibilities
- 8 years of hands-on Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
- Strong experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, Data Model, and configuration.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting SOAP/REST integrations.
- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI pair-programming tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with tools such as Jira.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or internal Generative AI tools.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into enterprise software engineering workflows.
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance business processes and the insurance lifecycle.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their practical application in software development.
- Familiarity with SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar document-generation platforms.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, SVN, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including Commercial and Personal Lines.
- Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, particularly PolicyCenter.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external applications and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Develop and debug solutions using Gosu, Java, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
- Configure Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, Data Model, and application components.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase engineering productivity.
- Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure solution quality and reliability.
- Support QA, UAT, and production environments, including troubleshooting and defect resolution.
- Analyze complex application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
