Position Overview
To support the TPL and company through performance of tissue dissections, aseptic processing of allografts and general lab functions.
Responsibilities
- Dissect, process and document at least one tissue type.
- Evaluate and document attributes for acceptance per quality specifications.
- Perform sterile and non-sterile duties for aseptic transfers.
- Receive, inspect, label and document incoming tissue.
- Circulate at dissection.
- Disinfect, assemble, and sterilize laboratory instruments.
- Prepare disinfectants, solutions, and intermediates.
- Clean processing areas and general lab area, including laundering of laboratory scrubs and waste disposal.
- Monitor and record equipment parameters.
- Supply stocking and material system.
- Produce complete and accurate documentation/labeling for above functions.
- Complete appropriate training records prior to performing associated functions.
- Perform all functions within Artivion SOP compliance.
- Assist with training newer technicians.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- This is a NIGHT shift position: Monday - Thursday, 4:00PM - 2:30AM
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Capable of following instructions and working without direct supervision.
- Must be available to work Monday - Thursday, 4:00PM - 2:30AM
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years of age
