In this role, you will serve as a mentor and instructor, guiding students through coding concepts and fostering a love for programming. Duties

• Teach coding fundamentals and advanced programming concepts through structured lessons and hands-on activities
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and skill levels
• Provide personalized support to students, helping them troubleshoot issues and improve their coding proficiency
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Stay updated on the latest programming languages, tools, and educational methodologies to enhance instruction quality
• Assist in organizing coding workshops, events, or competitions to promote community engagement

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and motivate students
• Patience and adaptability to accommodate learners with varying levels of experience
• Ability to create engaging educational content and activities that make learning fun and accessible
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring in coding or related fields is a plus
• Basic understanding of educational technology tools and platforms used for remote or hybrid instruction

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $29.13 - $35.08 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Work Location: In person
