The Utility Porter supports catering and commercial kitchen facilities by maintaining clean, orderly, and well-stocked work areas. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role handles frequent lifting and equipment movement, deliveries, waste removal, and occasional event setup.
Responsibilities
- Clean catering and commercial kitchen facilities.
- Unloading and loading delivery vehicles
- Washing and storing dishes
- Remove and manage waste.
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory availability.
- Transport equipment throughout the facilities.
- Complete catering deliveries as needed.
- Assist with occasional event setup.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in facility services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial cleaning, floor care, and waste management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and time management skills.
- Experience completing deliveries.
- Experience driving a food truck or other large vehicles
