**Tree Climber / Groundsman -- Artistic Treeworks**

Artistic Treeworks has proudly served the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas for over 40 years. We provide a full range of professional arborist services and are committed to delivering safe, effective, and friendly service. We are currently seeking a skilled **Tree Climber / Groundsman** who can perform both climbing and ground support duties, under the guidance of an ISA Certified Arborist. These are safety-sensitive positions.

### Responsibilities:

• Inspect trees for hazards, diseases, and pest problems.
• Climb trees using hooks, ropes, harnesses, ladders, or aerial lifts to prune, shape, or remove branches and trees.
• Cut, trim, or remove dead or excess branches, including work near power lines, using chainsaws, handsaws, shears, and other equipment.
• Perform cabling, bracing, bolting, tying, staking, and guying of trees and branches to provide structural support.
• Operate, maintain, and safely use all tools and equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, shredders, and aerial lifts.
• Assist with jobsite cleanup by collecting debris, clearing grounds, loading and hauling material, and feeding brush into chippers.
• Maintain tools and equipment by cleaning, sharpening, and lubricating.
• Communicate effectively with customers and crew members.
• Follow all instructions provided by the Owner or Supervisor to ensure safe, high-quality work.
  
  

### Requirements:

• **2 years of Tree Climber and/or Groundsman experience (required).**
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical endurance to perform strenuous outdoor labor for 8--12 hours per day.
• Ability to work Monday--Friday and occasional Saturdays year-round.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening.
• Arborist or Rigger Certification (preferred).
  
  

### Compensation:

• Weekly pay period.
• Pay is DOE (Depends on Experience).
