Responsibilities
- Lead daily pool maintenance routines, including cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections to ensure optimal pool conditions.
- Diagnose and perform repairs on pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper chemical levels and water quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment and plumbing systems; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the proper handling of chemical agents in compliance with safety regulations; maintain detailed records of chemical usage and maintenance activities.
- Manage service schedules, coordinate with clients for maintenance appointments, and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Train and supervise team members on equipment repair techniques, safety procedures, and best practices for pool maintenance.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician specializing in pool systems or related mechanical fields.
- Strong knowledge of pool plumbing systems, water treatment chemicals, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair using hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance devices.
- Familiarity with chemical handling procedures specific to water treatment agents used in pools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple service tasks effectively.
- Prior experience supervising or leading a team is preferred but not required.
