Overview:

The HR Manager is responsible for fostering a great working environment, retention, career development, human resources productivity, training, recruiting, and corporate benefits. The HR Manager works with the Sr. Management Team and helps set the strategic direction of the company. Artistic Composite Pallets currently has approximately 60 employees and was started in April of 2020.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or psychology major preferred
  • 2 Years HR experience

General Duties:

  • Listens to the employees and helps them to grow in their careers
  • Manages all Artistic Benefits including Health Insurance
  • Review productivity statistics and assist with monthly incentive programs
  • Conduct annual surveys: Direct Manager, Employee Opinion, 360 Degree
  • Manage the application process for “Best Places to Work” surveys
  • Ensure safety training for all employees is conducted quarterly
  • Build relationships with the management team to assist them with hiring needs
  • Learn the business so you can recruit top talent
  • Recruiting: posting jobs, sourcing resumes, interviewing, and reference checks
  • Monitor monthly “1 to 1” meetings with production personnel to ensure they take place and are productive
  • Career Development and Training Program
  • Attend job fairs and proactively recruit
  • Make sure our recruiting media (paper and web based) is current and appealing
  • Participate in first and second round interviews
  • Source and screen resume to find the best talent
  • Updating the Corporate Policy Manual annually
  • Market the employee hiring referral program to our existing employees
  • Proactively recruit. Discover creative ways to find new talent
  • Post jobs and track success
  • Assist with Payroll
  • Manage Mentoring Program
  • Maintain recruiting metrics
  • Develop or use a resume tracking system
  • Conduct references checks and background checks for new candidates
  • Manage initial (new employee) and recurring drug testing program
  • Follow up with all interview candidates
