DTC Marketing Communications Manager | Charlotte, NC
The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for traffic driving ad campaigns, reputation management and developing consumer engagement through social media for taprooms with a goal of driving sales growth at all ABV taproom locations.
Reports to: VP of Brand & Marketing

Social Media Marketing

Who We're Looking For
This is a full-time position. Days of work are typically Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is expected to be up to 20% of the time to support and be present to employees.

DTC Marketing Communications Manager | Charlotte, NC
The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for traffic driving ad campaigns, reputation management and developing consumer engagement through social media for taprooms with a goal of driving sales growth at all ABV taproom locations.
Reports to: VP of Brand & Marketing
What You'll Do
Social Media Marketing
- Build & execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform strategy, audience development and targeting, competitive benchmarking, and messaging framework
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action and visit locations
- Set up & optimize taproom pages within each platform to increase the visibility of each taproom’s social content
- Lead community management & moderate all user-generated content for each taproom platform
- Create monthly content/editorial calendars for each taproom platform that shares timely information on events, beer releases, & promotions
- Continuously improve platforms by capturing & analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights & best practices that can be shared with DTC team & cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with other departments (sales/brand teams) to manage reputation, identify key marketing messages & coordinate relevant actions on taproom platforms
- Maintain taproom Facebook events pages with proper lead time to generate interest and consumer response
- Work closely with Programming Hospitality Marketing Coordinator on taproom events and promotions to communicate in a timely manner via taproom platforms
- Openly communicate with Area Managers, Taproom General Managers, Marketing Department and Programming Hospitality Marketing Coordinator to full evaluate/coordinate taproom marketing activities
- Prepare & execute ad campaigns to drive traffic in our taproom communities as well as to new audiences
- Keep local news & media outlets up to date on events/releases at taprooms
- Hello Sponsor tracking/field marketing opportunities in the taproom communities
- Manage guest feedback through various platforms
- Ensure taproom websites are up to date & accurate via Squarespace, including upcoming events, hours, holiday closings, & food/beer menu updates
- Evaluate/monitor taproom competitive set
- Manage taproom marketing budget
- Participate in management meetings to report on taproom marketing activities and performance
- Monitor & track all sales performance directly associated with marketing activities to provide weekly reporting
- Support planning and programming for our loyalty club

Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-3 years or more of experience in hospitality, private event sales, marketing, sales or promotion related fields
- Experience with social media, digital marketing and CRM tools
- Experience with Office 365
- Candidate should be able and willing to lift at least 31.5 lbs. from ground level to a shelf 50 inches from the floor. The candidate should also be able to move 165 lbs. of kegged beer from one location to another by sliding it on the floor.
- Selected candidate will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background and driver's license check.
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures of the worksite.
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
