Our client is seeking a Creative Project Manager with strong CPG experience to support a fast-paced product development and design environment. This role will act as the central hub for managing creative workflows, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring timelines, deliverables, and product requirements are executed seamlessly across multiple concurrent initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a balance of hands-on project management, familiarity with consumer-packaged goods processes, and the ability to bring structure to a growing creative operation.
You Will:
- Lead intake, prioritization, and tracking of all creative projects across packaging, product development, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring alignment across design, production, and leadership stakeholders.
- Facilitate weekly sprint planning and ongoing status updates to keep projects moving efficiently and proactively address bottlenecks.
- Serve as the primary point of communication between creative, leadership, and external partners to ensure clarity on deliverables and expectations.
- Balance and allocate workload across designers to optimize productivity and maintain realistic timelines.
- Track and manage packaging-specific requirements including regulatory elements such as nutrition panels, ingredient listings, and compliance considerations.
- Coordinate international and domestic production timelines, including shipment tracking and delivery dependencies.
- Support trademark tracking, product naming workflows, and brand consistency across multiple product lines.
- Maintain and evolve project tracking systems (currently Salesforce-based), while identifying opportunities to improve workflow through tools such as Monday, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Act as a knowledge base for CPG-specific processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across packaging and product deliverables.
You Have:
- 4 years of experience in project management within a creative, marketing, or product development environment.
- Direct experience working within CPG, consumer goods, food, beverage, or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of packaging workflows, including familiarity with regulatory and nutritional labeling requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working closely with designers, creative directors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to bring structure to loosely defined or evolving processes.
- Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Salesforce, Monday, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to track complex moving parts including timelines, approvals, and production dependencies.
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, supporting both process improvement and day-to-day execution.
