Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to:
- Complete and review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), questionnaires, consultant databases, and other ad hoc reporting, ensuring consistency, accuracy, effectiveness, and timely completion
- Oversee and review new business data requests for accuracy and responsiveness
- Develop a thorough understanding of the firm and the firm’s investment strategies
- Ensure consistency in messaging, accuracy in information, and legal and regulatory compliance
- Identify opportunities to consolidate, enhance, or reengineer processes, methods, or tools to improve efficiency and further team efforts in automation
- Create and maintain biographies for key firm and investment management personnel and work collaboratively to update and manage a firmwide professionals report, which analyzes and synthesizes key professional statistics, for use in marketing materials
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years of experience in the investment industry or in an RFP-related role
- Excellent time-management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong professional and persuasive written/verbal communication experience and copyediting skills
- Self-motivated and driven with a willingness and ability to identify ways to add value beyond routine job responsibilities
- Confidence working with all levels of management and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with members of the Sales, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, and Operations teams
- Data reporting and analytic skills
- Experience in alternative investments preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
- Experience with Salesforce applications a plus
