What You'll Do
As a Fence & Deck Helper, you'll work alongside experienced installers while learning the trade from the ground up. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in helping our crews complete projects safely and efficiently.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Transporting and organizing materials, tools, and equipment
- Preparing job sites for construction
- Assisting with digging post holes, grading, measuring, and layout
- Helping install fencing, decking, railing systems, gates, and related components
- Using hand and power tools while following safe work practices
- Cleaning and organizing the work area throughout the project
- Supporting lead installers with whatever is needed to keep the job moving
What We're Looking For
- Shows up on time and is dependable
- Enjoys working outdoors in a physically active environment
- Can regularly lift 50-80 pounds
- Has reliable transportation to our shop or job sites
- Learns quickly and works well as part of a team
- Has previous construction experience.
