Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and on-time delivery of goods. This role manages staff, optimizes workflows, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet organizational goals and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse operation activities
• Ensure efficient utilization of labor, equipment, and materials
• Monitor operation and production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines
• Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate with supply chain teams

Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff and supervisors
• Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback
• Foster a positive and safety-focused work environment
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity

Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and standardize operating procedures
• Drive automation or system improvements where applicable

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and operational procedures
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits and inspections

Reporting & Communication

• Track and report on key performance metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, procurement, HR)
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership

Milestones (First 12 Months)

First 30–60 Days

• Assess current warehouse processes, staffing, and performance
• Build relationships with team and key stakeholders
• Identify immediate operational gaps and quick-win opportunities
• Identify issues with other departments

90 Days

• Implement improvements to workflow efficiency
• Establish KPI tracking and reporting systems
• Address any urgent safety or compliance issues
• Stabilize staffing and scheduling
• Implement improvements to strengthen relationships cross departmentally

6 Months

• Demonstrate measurable improvements in productivity and accuracy
• Reduce operational costs or inefficiencies
• Introduce at least one major process improvement initiative
• Improve team performance and engagement metrics

12 Months

• Achieve or exceed core KPI targets
• Fully optimize production workflows and staffing models
• Establish a high-performing, accountable team culture
• Implement sustainable continuous improvement practices

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or production management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Required to speak and understand Spanish.

Preferred

• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification
• Experience in high-volume or automated environments
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
