Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Welder/Fabricator role based in Rochester, NY. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welds using TIG, MIG, and arc welding techniques on various metal materials. Your daily tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, preparing materials for welding, conducting measurements for precise fits, and ensuring products meet quality standards. You will also participate in assembly and finishing processes as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This position requires a high-level of precision and quality TIG welding light-gauge sheet metals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in TIG Welding, MIG Welding, and Arc Welding techniques
- Familiarity with various materials and their specific welding requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and commitment to precision and quality standards
- Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and standing for extended periods
- Previous experience in fabrication or welding roles is preferred
- Welding certification is a plus
