Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Sewing Specialist / Industrial Sewer to join our team. This role available for part time and full time. You will be responsible for sewing and assembling canvas and vinyl products onto frames.

Responsibilities
- Sew canvas and vinyl components using industrial sewing machines
- Assist to Assemble products according to established specifications onto frames
- Maintain consistent stitch quality and attention to detail
- Inspect finished items to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with workflow to meet production goals
- Maintain and care for sewing equipment and workspace

Work Location: In person We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sewer / Seamstress to join our dynamic awning manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality fabric products by expertly sewing, cutting, and assembling materials. Your expertise in seam construction, garment sewing, and fabric handling will ensure that each product meets our quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines, serging equipment, assemble products and fabric items efficiently and accurately
- Measure fabrics and materials using various measuring instruments to ensure precise cuts and seams
- Cut fabric manually with sharp tools following detailed patterns and specifications for awning construction or upholstery projects
- Handle materials carefully during manufacturing processes, including sorting, organizing, and storing fabrics in accordance with safety standards
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in garment sewing, upholstery sewing, or related manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines such as industrial sewing machines equipment
- Strong understanding of seam construction techniques and garment assembly processes
- Ability to accurately measure materials using measuring instruments like rulers, tape measures
- Knowledge of fabric materials including textiles used in exterior or upholstery applications
- Experience with manual cutting of fabrics based on patterns or templates
- Familiarity with quality standards in production environments to maintain high-quality output
- Warehouse experience is a plus for handling materials efficiently while maintaining safety standards
