Business Operations Systems Specialist

As our Business Operations Systems Specialist, you will support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the internal tools and AI-enabled workflows that power our Operations organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Build & Automate: Design and maintain internal tools and scripts (predominantly in JavaScript and Python) that turn manual effort into seamless, automated workflows.
• Champion AI: Contribute to the implementation and iteration of AI-enabled workflows, helping us thoughtfully apply LLMs to practical business challenges.
• Solve Systems Puzzles: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate ambiguous operational needs into reliable, scalable system-based solutions.
• Drive Efficiency: Maintain and improve existing internal tools, ensuring they are documented, easy to use, and highly reliable for our global teams.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in operations, analytics, automation, or a technical support role.
• Technical Toolkit: Proficiency with JavaScript (Google Apps Script is a plus), Python (or similar scripting languages), and a working knowledge of SQL.
• Data & AI Literacy: Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with using AI/LLM tools for practical problem-solving (prompting, iteration, and evaluation).
• Presence: Ability to work from our New York City office at least twice a week to collaborate closely with the team.

We offer competitive compensation to attract and retain the best people and to reward them for their contributions to our mission. In pursuit of pay equity and fairness, the starting annual base salary for this position is expected to be $70-90k. The final offer may be determined by a number of non-discriminatory factors, including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
