Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely.
- Perform stock stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving duties to support order fulfillment processes.
- Conduct materials handling tasks including heavy lifting and mechanical operations to ensure smooth warehouse flow.
- Maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Assist in packaging products for shipment and ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with warehouse supervisors and management systems like AS400 or other warehouse management systems.
- Participate in inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, crane operation, pallet jacks, and order pickers is essential.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., AS400) and RF scanners is advantageous.
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes, order picking & fulfillment, and materials handling is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation or construction is a plus.
- Previous roles involving warehouse supervision or management experience are beneficial but not required.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and mechanical operations is important for success in this role.
