Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Equipment Operator is a versatile, hybrid role responsible for supporting multiple areas of warehouse operations. This position includes a mix of machine operation (cherry picker, sit-down forklift) and manual tasks such as picking, packing, and table work. This is not a full-time machine position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform floor picking and packing of customer orders
- Sort and organize products by style, size, and color
- Assist with packing operations at workstations (standing/walking required)
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, including:
- Cherry picker
- Sit-down forklift
- Fill in on different machines or tasks based on daily operational needs
- Use RF scanners to track and verify inventory
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Support team members across departments to ensure workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required
- Experience operating forklifts or cherry pickers preferred (not required)
- Comfortable switching between equipment operation and manual labor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and flexibility
- Willingness to be cross-trained and adapt to daily needs
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving between work areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to alternate between equipment operation and hands-on tasks
