What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Specialist position at Arthur Services, Inc.?

Located in Bessemer City NC
- Receive incoming materials, parts, and supplies and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to management.
- Prepare outgoing orders and shipments by pulling, packing, labeling, and staging materials.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials and shipments.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
