Metal Manufacturing Associate/General Labor
Pay rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm (15 minute morning break and 45 minute lunch)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Labor – Metal Fabrication team member to support our laser and press brake operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, quality standards, and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in producing quality results.Key Responsibilities
- Remove finished parts from metal sheets after laser cutting and/or stamping operations
- Assist team members within the laser and press brake departments as needed
- Perform dimensional inspections to verify parts meet specifications
- Identify, detect, and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Follow all safety rules, quality standards, and company procedures
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals (essential)
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Position is physically demanding and requires manual handling of metal parts
- Must be able to safely perform tasks in an active manufacturing environment
