Role Description
We are hiring both a full-time and part-time position, in an on-site role for a Ballroom Dance Instructor located in Montclair, CA. The Ballroom Dance Instructor will be responsible for teaching a variety of dance styles, including ballroom and Latin dances, to both individuals and groups. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting dance lessons, evaluating students' progress, choreographing routines, preparing students for showcases or events, and creating a positive and engaging class environment. The instructor will also contribute to fostering a sense of community among participants.
Qualifications
- Ballroom dance experience is useful but not required.
- The ability to adapt instructional methods to meet varied learning needs.
- A passion for Dance, Movement, and Music, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Prior experience in professional dance performance or teaching is a plus.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the studio and students.
