Real Estate Photographer (Part-Time)

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday

Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week to start

Compensation: $25-$35 per hour mileage reimbursement

About the Role

We are hiring a friendly and dependable team member to support a growing real estate media company serving the Rapid City area.

This is a field-based, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being out in the field, and interacting with people.

No prior photography experience is required. Paid training, company equipment, and a clear process are provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally to residential properties for scheduled appointments
• Capture interior and exterior photos using a structured shot list
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and real estate agents
• Upload photos after each shoot (no editing required)
• Learn additional services such as drone and video over time

Most photographers complete 2-4 properties per day depending on scheduling.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday availability required
• Typical hours between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Approximately 15 hours per week to start
• Schedule may vary based on booking volume
• Local travel between appointments required

Compensation

• Paid training at $15/hour
• Standard appointments = $25 per scheduled hour on-site time
• Drone-certified work = $30 per scheduled hour
• Video services average $35 per scheduled hour
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.30 per mile

Compensation increases with experience and additional services.

Requirements

• Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Rapid City, SD
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Strong punctuality and reliability
• Professional and friendly communication skills
• Ability to follow a checklist and stay organized
• Comfortable using basic technology and mobile apps

Photography experience is a plus, but not required.
