What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A.?
We are seeking a dynamic paralegal who is a highly organized professional to assist with personal injury defense work along with strong knowledge of No-Fault/automobile claims including handling arbitration claims through the American Arbitration Association. The paralegal must be detail oriented, able to work under deadlines and a solid writer. The paralegal will handle drafting pleadings, summarizing and requesting medical records, drafting status reports and working with claims adjusters, and conducting investigation on injury-based claims.
We are open to hybrid working arrangements and flexible schedules. Our qualifications include:
- Prefer 2-5 years of automobile, No-Fault or medical experience
- Outstanding proofreading, grammar, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently but well within a team environment, prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, manage and maintain a diary system of tasks, and perform well in stressful situations under typical tight deadlines
- Experience tracking and entering billable time would be a benefit
At Arthur Chapman, we provide a competitive compensation package, reflective of experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package. The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
