Reports To: CFO
Position Summary: This position is responsible for analyzing financial performance, preparing variance reports, and producing RVU (Relative Value Unit) reporting to evaluate provider productivity and practice efficiency. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Clinical Leadership to provide actionable insights that drive performance improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
· Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including budget vs. actual variance analyses.
· Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide clear explanations for variances.
· Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
RVU & Productivity Reporting
· Generate and maintain RVU reports and other reports used by providers and service lines.
· Analyze provider productivity and compensation alignment based on RVU data.
· Partner with leadership to ensure accuracy and consistency in RVU reporting methodologies.
Operational & Business Analysis
· Evaluate financial and operational performance across clinics, providers, and service lines.
· Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor practice performance (volume, reimbursement, payer mix, etc.).
· Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
· Develop payor variance reports and analyze variances
Data Management & Integrity
· Extract, validate, and reconcile data from EMR, billing systems, and financial systems.
· Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms.
· Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams to improve data quality and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
· 3–5 years of experience in financial or business analysis, preferably in healthcare or a medical practice setting.
· Experience with RVU reporting and provider productivity analysis strongly preferred.
