Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour

Arthritis, Rheumatic & Bone Disease Associates (ARBDA) is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Billing team in Voorhees, NJ.

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator plays an important role in our revenue cycle operations, focusing on outstanding accounts, insurance claim follow-up, denials and underpayments, appeals, and accurate reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit electronic and paper insurance claims and review claim exception reports
• Research and resolve rejected, denied, and underpaid claims
• Review A/R reports, follow up on claim status, reprocess claims, and submit appeals
• Review EOBs to ensure accurate payments from third-party payors
• Identify and report payment and denial trends
• Review outstanding insurance balances for upcoming infusion patients and work to resolve issues
• Submit patient statements and complete assigned billing follow-up tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of medical accounts receivable experience required
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
• Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle preferred
• Knowledge of insurance portals and medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills

Position Details

This is a full-time, on-site position in our Voorhees, NJ office. Hours may vary based on departmental needs. No travel is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
