Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. is actively searching for a Night Shift - Steward to join the Culinary team at the Pendleton, SC location. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment including but not limited to washing dishes, cleaning floors, waste removal, equipment breakdown and upkeep, assist in transporting deliveries, organize incoming deliveries, and rotation of storage. Flexibility will be needed with this schedule, primary hours will be 7:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., Monday-Thursday. There will be other opportunities for additional OT, based on business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain a clean and safe work environment including but not limited to: washing dishes, cleaning floors, waste removal, equipment breakdown and upkeep, assist in transporting deliveries, organize incoming deliveries, rotation of storage.
- Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Serve-Safe certification
- Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
- General knowledge of kitchen equipment, its functions and operational technique.
- Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems and communicate them effectively.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Mathematical Skills
- Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- 1 year of restaurant experience preferred
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
