Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs and documents dimensional inspections on inventory parts using engineering prints, inspection procedures or work instructions.
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities, such as dimensional, performance, life cycle, mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
- May perform, as needed, destructive and/or nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products.
- Records data and may apply statistical quality control procedures.
- Detects nonconformances/anomalies during inspection process effectively.
- Identifies any documentation errors or ommissions and general noncompliance to GDP requirements.
- Generates nonconformance notifications as required.
- Perform inspection equipment start-up and/or verification activities, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year in a quality control or related industry experience required
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as required by regulatory and quality standards.
- Effective communication with the team and supervisor regarding issues. Exhibits basic knowledge of effective communication skills to those in leadership in written and verbal formats.
