The Imaging and Resection team (I&R) is actively searching for a Product Development Co-op to support the ongoing design and engineering activities for the I&R product portfolio. The ideal candidate will know SolidWorks or similar CAD software experience, understand engineering fundamentals, and have interpersonal skills. Our ideal candidate is a student of Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
This Co-op will run from January 2026 – June 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Main Objective:
Co-op will work with the Imaging and Resection Engineering department to gain experience in research, design, testing, and manufacturing of medical devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing and possess the ability to work through technical issues
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation, mechanical testing equipment, PC, Creo or other 3D modeling software a plus.

Main Objective:
Co-op will work with the Imaging and Resection Engineering department to gain experience in research, design, testing, and manufacturing of medical devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support our Shaver product line in developing and designing new products, testing fixtures and analyzing problems.
- Utilize Solidworks modeling, including drawing prototype parts.
- Design and print 3D test fixtures.
- Supporting engineering documentation.
- Analyze drawings and tolerances as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an engineering degree or a recent graduate within the last six months. Senior in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
- Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
- Prior experience with CAD software, such as Solidworks, preferred.
