Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Operations Technology organization is responsible for automation, robotics, vision systems, and controls programming for Arthrex Manufacturing sites in Pendleton, South Carolina and Ave Maria, Florida. The successful candidate will work alongside operations and engineer teams for various manufacturing departments, development documentation, consulting on solution design and implementation, and maintaining current automation equipment to support portfolio maintenance.
This internship will run from May 2026 – August 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 30-40 hours per week at our Pendleton, SC facility.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Solution and program robotic and vision system capability for manufacturing processes.
- Connection to and analysis of equipment capability in SCADA platforms.
- Programming of PLC or other controls system.
- Progress towards a college degree in Engineering required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
- Experience with Office Suite, Controls System programming and logic basics, and/or engineering drawing capability required.
- PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
