The Spine Sales Specialist drives sales performance by executing strategic sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed quota and key business objectives for the Arthrex Spine portfolio. This role delivers high-level technical expertise and support to internal teams and external customers. The position is primarily based in the Richmond market, with responsibility for supporting efforts throughout the greater company geography, spanning most of Virginia.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales teams and leadership to develop a strong salesstrategy that alignswith customer needs
- Guide the sales teams on tactics to execute the strategies developed; assist with recommendations of productsand methodologies to surgeons
- Communicate with the sales team regarding new products, productupdates, and promotional activities
- Support current spine business by maintaining and growing relationships with current customers
- Engage directly with prospective customers and sales teams to build future business and grow new customer relationships
- Measure, monitor, and trend sales team performance to assessstrategies and ensure success of business results including quota achievement, account education engagement, and inventory management
- Cross-sell additional productsor manage new product introductions as they become available
- Partner with the medical education team to maximize communications and educational opportunities for customers and sales representatives
- Participate in activities, including labs, industrymeetings, and trade shows, when necessary to help showcase spine products
- Identify customer needs and proposecreative solutions that align with business objectives and guidelines, including pricing/billing that align with company policies
- Respond to the needs of the sales organization via email, phone and field visits.
- Collaborate with Managersconcerning product positioning strategies and feedbackfrom the field.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Arthrex corporate and internal teams to established objectives

Minimal Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience
- 1-2 years of demonstrated B2B sales experience (sales of spinal products, preferred)
- Successful completion of Orthobiologics Initial Onsite Trainingprior to or within eight months of start date
- Successful completion of Spine Initial Onsite Training priorto or within eight months of start date
- Successful completion of ECI Sales Trainingprior to or within 12 monthsof start date
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to succeed in a high-paced and at timesstressful environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and smart phone technology

Work Environment
The Spine Specialist (SS) is a field-based role requiring extensive driving time travelling to meetings, hospitals and practices to support the team and fulfill daily responsibilities. The SS actively engages with stakeholders, resolves challenges in real time, and adapts to the dynamic needs of the team, healthcare providers, and the business.

- Dexterity & Fine Motor Skills: Ability to operate standard office equipment and lab instruments
