Main Objective:
The Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing assigned projects and tasks within the Project Management Office. This includes adhering to policies and procedures necessary to ensure the efficient and effective execution of a portfolio of projects, as well as the regular delivery of enhancements and smaller tasks.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Facilitates small and medium-scale projects and programs with complete project life cycle management – including budgeting, large event/training, and strategic planning coordination.
- Coordinates project meetings and creates project meeting notes for team review.
- Communicates program/project status to key stakeholders of overall status against constraints (scope, cost, and schedule).
- Tracks Project Changes to ensure we are meeting the standards of the quality process.
- Coordinates interactions between Project Managers and logistics to ensure ongoing visibility to issues, resources, production status, and parts.
- Apply knowledge of business and department objectives and priorities.
- Serve as an information resource on organizational practices, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that apply to the Department.
- Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.
- Multi-task and manage through issues proactively.
- Communicate with senior leaders and department employees – communicate verbally, in writing – and maintain confidentiality.
- Serve as a key point of contact for other Arthrex departments and functions.
- Apply knowledge of the Project Management Cycle.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Project Management, or Technical discipline
- 2 years of relevant work experience required
- SAP experience is preferred
- Workfront experience is preferred
- PMP Certification is preferred
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Strong negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization
- Effective task management and problem-solving skills.
- Works well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work overtime and perform other duties, as needed.
