The Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the HR department and serves as a key resource for employees and managers at Arthrex. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The HR Generalist plays a vital role in ensuring a positive, high-performing work environment aligned with Arthrex’s values and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all required employment documentation is completed accurately.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, attendance, and general HR inquiries.
- Partner with supervisors and managers to address employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist in administering and maintaining employee benefit programs, open enrollment, and wellness initiatives.
- Manage and maintain HR records, personnel files, and HRIS data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, and development planning.
- Assist with training coordination, employee engagement activities, and recognition programs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.) and company policies.
- Advise and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Assist with policy development, implementation, and communication to align with Arthrex’s culture
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3–5 years of advanced HR experience; emphasis in employment law and employee relations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and handle confidential information sensitively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee issues with sound judgment and professionalism.
