What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Associate position at Arthouse?
We are looking to hire a part-time, year-round, Retail Associate to run daily operations of our store.
Must be friendly, responsible, reliable, work well independently, and have an interest in art.
You will be responsible for:
- Opening/ closing the store
- Greeting customers
- Processing sales using our POS system
- Keeping the gallery looking nice and tidy (light cleaning duties)
- Assist with special events
- Merchandising/ restocking
Must have open availability and be able to work holidays/ weekends.
We prefer that you live near Wilmington with reliable transportation.

About The Space:
Arthouse is an art gallery cooperative, retail store, and creative space located in Wilmington, Vermont. We are housed inside a beautiful historic church - truly a wonderful place to spend time in! We are passionate about promoting local art & building a creative community.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
Work Location: In person
