Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Repair and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect equipment, identify problems, and replace worn or damaged parts.
- Perform equipment start-up and testing after repairs.
- Operate basic machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders.
- Perform general building and facility maintenance as needed.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Order replacement parts when needed.
- Work overtime or weekends when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment is preferred.
- Experience with stamping presses or Allen-Bradley PLCs is a plus.
- Must have basic maintenance hand tools.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Lift up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet and in confined spaces when needed.
- Must wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
