How you'll make an impact
The Vice President of Captive Management is responsible for the oversight, decision making and operational management of the Group Captive Center of Excellence team that leads financial statement preparation.
- Lead strategic decision-making for the Group Captive Center of Excellence team, setting the vision and direction to align with organizational goals.
- Oversee operational management of the Group Captive Center of Excellence team, ensuring effective execution of daily activities and continuous improvement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards across all group captive entities.
- Coordinate annual audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, timelines and performance analysis for captives.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address emerging risks.
- Serve as a liaison between the team and external service providers, including auditors and actuaries.
- Stay informed of industry trends and legislative changes impacting captive insurance financial reporting.

About You
Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years related experience. Proficiency with software programs, such as excel, and mathematical calculations. Strong PC and Microsoft application skills, including Word and Excel. Basic understanding of insurance concepts. Excellent oral and written communication ability.
Preferred: State license for Health/Life desired. Knowledge in using the analytical approach to problem solving.
