Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest needs.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to uphold health standards and prevent accidents.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property quality.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Support team efforts in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and janitorial equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
