About The Role
They are currently looking for a Millwork Project Manager to join the team to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of custom millwork projects from initial design through final installation. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

In order to be successful as a Millwork Project Manager, you will have 4 years’ experience managing a variety of commercial and residential projects across New York specifically architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, or related woodworking fields.

This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
This position requires knowledge of woodworking, fabrication methods, materials, and installation practices. The successful individual will be responsible for the following:
- Managing multiple millwork projects simultaneously from award to completion.
- Developing project schedules, timelines, and milestones; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Be able to review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Coordinate with engineering, drafting, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Track project budgets, costs, and change orders; provide regular updates to leadership and clients.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, architects, and designers.
- Conduct project meetings, provide status updates, and address questions or concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships to support repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all millwork meets company quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct site visits to verify field conditions, installation progress, and compliance with safety standards.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent delays or rework.
- Coordinate material procurement, vendor orders, and subcontractor scheduling.
- Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and material selections.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate fabrication and timely delivery.

- Proven experience in millwork, woodworking, construction, or related project management.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, millwork fabrication processes, and installation methods.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‐solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and CAD/drafting review tools (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred).
