Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the full spectrum of our accounting and financial record-keeping activities. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the accounting process from A to Z, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, payroll, and compliance. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage all aspects of bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger and all supporting journals and subsidiary ledgers.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
• Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and related compliance requirements.
• Prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statements) and reports for management.
• Monitor cash flow and provide insights for budgeting and financial planning.
• Process and file sales/use tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with external accountants for audits and tax preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Implement and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
• Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial processes.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
