Position Overview:
We are seeking a Development Coordinator, Data and Stewardship, to join our client’s Development team. Reporting to the Senior Development Officer, this role focuses on managing the development database (Raiser’s Edge) and supporting donor stewardship initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain database standards, documentation, and provide training and support to internal staff.
- Partner with the Development Assistant to maintain accurate donor records, process donations, and generate acknowledgements.
- Ensure proper documentation of all gifts (monetary and in-kind) for reconciliation and stewardship purposes.
- Prepare data reports for stewardship mailings, board presentations, event reporting, and general development needs.
- Support fundraising events by managing sponsorship and attendee lists, coordinating sponsorship fulfillment, and tracking revenue/expenses.
- Assist with stewardship projects by submitting marketing requests, tracking timelines, and ensuring timely execution.
- Provide general support across the Development team for fundraising campaigns, events, and donor engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in donor engagement, stewardship, or development operations.
- 1–3 years working with a donor database, preferably Raiser’s Edge; nonprofit experience is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, administrative proficiency, and commitment to data integrity.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for event support.
- Experience with Greater Giving or other event management software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs; must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
