The birth Center of New Jersey – Union, NJ
Certified Medical Assistant /Front Desk Receptionist
We are a Birth Center facility looking to expand.
-Must have Microsoft Office Experience
- Front Desk Insurance Verification as well as Deductible/Copayment Collection
- Answer phones on multi-line telephone system.
-Retrieving medical records from other providers.
- Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
- Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area as well as rest rooms
- Schedule patient appointments as well as confirm patient appointments
- Greet and register patients; verify insurance, deductibles and collect past due balances
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN experience
- Team player who strives to help other team members succeed and who is equally comfortable working independently
- Experience in EMR (Electronic medical record); computer literate and able to type competently
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of deductibles, co insurance, co payments
- Knowledge of authorizations for procedures (IUD's/ Colonoscopies) as well as prescription authorization knowledge.
-Knowledge about natural birthing
Salary to commensurate with experience.
