What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Handler position at Artema Tech?
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Handler to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate and timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse or distribution center
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment according to company standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Label, sort, and store products in designated areas
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with shipping documentation and tracking as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems and scanning devices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
Pay: $23.30 - $28.10 per hour
