What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Specialist position at Artech L.L.C.?
Artech is currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our expanding team in Fremont, CA in support of our industry's rapidly changing short- and long-term initiatives and staffing requirements for our clients. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Learn about and maintain a solid working knowledge of how the Client Delivery Team is structured and operates (process & procedure) to effectively support contract resources at a variety of clients
- Facilitate onboarding to new hires and provide an in-person orientation explaining benefits and the various policies and procedures for both Artech & the client they are supporting
- Work with IT specialist to issue proper equipment to consultant prior to first day of work
- Coordinate with HR to answer benefits questions
- Facilitate the processing of all time cards, expenses, and PTO for consultants including following up with consultants regarding missing time cards (to ensure timely payment)
- Maintain database for clients and consultants
- Coordinate the resolution of consultants' expense reimbursement/payroll/PTO/invoicing issues with finance, utilizing the defined process and procedures
- Conduct touch-base calls to all consultants on a regular basis to check in, discuss their issues/concerns and inquire about referrals
- Counsel consultants in case of client escalations and issues
- Coordinate all consultant terminations/departs, to include notification, asset return and advising on back-fill opportunities
- Build relationships with consultants and help in redeployment at project end
- Responsible for updating applicant tracking system to note meaningful consultant communications
- Responsible for managing all Artech profiles in client Vendor Management System (VMS) tools
- Create and maintain all TMS SOP documentation
Requirements:
- Top notch customer service skills - must be an exceptional communicator via both telephone and email
- Must be a people-person who wants to speak with and assist many people daily
- Ability to handle difficult conversations in a non-emotional manner
- A problem solver with the ability to analyze an issue, identify and work with the correct resource(s) to resolve the issue and follow up to demonstrate the issue is resolved
- Must be highly organized detail oriented with the ability to gather and report/record important information in detail
- Must be able to simultaneously manage numerous requests for assistance through the various phases of completion
- Creative, innovative, ready to take challenges
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 to 3 years' experience in an HR or operations role or capacity within a fast-paced industry is required
- Highly proficient in using MS Office suite and ability to learn new software
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience with writing and editing process documentation and global/team communications
Salary : $60k - $62k upto 5% bonus.
