Exhibits at the ARTE MUSEUM center around the theme 'ETERNAL NATURE', reinterpreting various elements and spaces in nature as immersive media art. The artworks, brought to life through the fusion of various digital media technologies and visual creativity, capture nature's eternal attributes and realistic presentation, allowing visitors to experience nature unconstrained by time and space.

ARTE MUSEUM is a global exhibition brand that launched its first venue in Jeju, South Korea, in September 2020. Since its inception, ARTE MUSEUM has extended its reach to major cities around the globe, establishing itself as a popular exhibition with a cumulative total of five million visitors. It has also won several global design awards, including the iF Design Award.

[Job description]

Operations Staff will work to provide a safe and memorable experience for each visitor visiting the ARTE MUSEUM, through smooth running of the museum’s operation. They are the first point of contact for the Company. They welcome and greet visitors who visit the museum and answer any questions about the exhibition. They also coordinate front-desk activities and are responsible for reception, ticketing checking, rounding, MD Shop, and Tea Bar.

[Duties and Responsibilities]

  • According to the Company, it is necessary to comply with and implement the operation policies and procedures of the museum and aims to enrich and enhance the experience of visitors. Work according to the work schedule, including weekends and public holidays, as the Museum operates year-round in the service industry. Be prepared for rotating shifts based on working hours.
  • Greets and welcomes visitors, including VIPs and large groups, ensuring all Company service standards are adhered to.
  • Provides visitors with a welcoming tour/speech that includes information about Company and its on-going exhibitions if necessary.
  • Members of the operations team will rotate through a variety of duties, and the rotation duties are below:

[Reception]

- Customer service, including reception and providing customers with exhibit descriptions and precautions.

- Explaining how to purchase tickets - Crowd control in lobbies and entrances, etc.

- Ticket verification, including checking ticket validity

- Verifying eligibility for special discounts

- Manage VIP invitation tickets

- Manage stroller and wheelchair and rental list

- Manage storage lockers

- Troubleshooting in case of emergencies

[Ticket Checking]

- Customer service, including reception and providing customers with exhibit descriptions and precautions

- Explaining how to purchase tickets

- Crowd control in lobbies and entrances, etc.

- Ticket verification, including checking ticket validity

- Verifying eligibility for special discounts

- Manage VIP invitation tickets

- Manage stroller and wheelchair and rental list

- Manage storage lockers

- Troubleshooting in case of emergencies

[Rounding]

- Walk around the exhibition zone to check if the mapping, warping, and focusing of the contents are in a good condition

- Checking and managing exhibit materials and contacting relevant teams if there are any issues with content or facilities.

- Arrange the customer-used wrap skirts displayed at the specific entrance

- Replace the severely damaged items in STAR RAINDROPS zone

- Organize the paper, crayons and tables in the Live Sketchbook zone

- Ensure optimal temperatures and scent control in each zone

- Crowd control, customer service

- Collecting lost items and delivering them to the gift shop

- Prevent incidents and follow the guideline

- Collecting any trash found in the exhibit

[MD Shop]

- Display the products on the shelves

- Explaining how to purchase the products

- Manage inventory quantities, put in and take out of the warehouse

- Manage supplies like wrappers and bags

- Conduct quarterly inventory audits

- Keeping the store clean

- Manage item payments, exchanges and refunds

- Cash management and delivery

- Store and manage lost and found items collected from the exhibition hall

[Tea Bar]

- Take orders and assign the table

- Explaining how to purchase Tea Bar for additional walk-ins

- Making and serving beverages

- Managing and sharing inventory status in daily basis

- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and Tea Bar

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: 8 hour shift
