Associate Project Manager – Artcraft Awning Division of ETP
The Role in a Nutshell
As an Associate Project Manager in the Artcraft Awning division of ETP, you are the "glue" that holds every awning project together. Once the awning sale is finalized, you take the baton and own the process entirely—from the first weld to the final screw. You will act as the primary liaison between our fabrication shop, our sewing team, and the customer to ensure every custom awning is built to spec, delivered on time, and installed to perfection.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales to Production Handoff: Translate sales documents into actionable plans and sketches for our metal fabricators and sewing department.
- Quality Control: Audit the frame construction and fabric fitment to ensure 100% accuracy before the product leaves the shop.
- Client Coordination: Manage the customer experience by gathering branding/logos, providing schedule updates, and conducting final project sign-offs.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and schedule a dedicated team of Awning Installers, providing clear daily direction and on-site troubleshooting.
- Project Logistics: Manage the end-to-end installation schedule, ensuring tools, materials, and manpower are aligned for maximum efficiency.
Technical Requirements & Skills
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with power tools is non-negotiable. You should be comfortable operating drills, impacts, oscillators, grinders, and reciprocating saws.
- Structural Knowledge: A firm understanding of fasteners and substrates. You must know which anchors to use for wood, brick, EIFS, vinyl siding, and steel.
- Logistics & Organization: The ability to juggle multiple active projects at different stages of the lifecycle without dropping the ball.
- Customer Service: Professionalism is key. You will be the face of Artcraft Awning on-site and must be able to handle client inquiries with confidence and clarity.
