ArtCart is seeking a passionate and creative Instructor to deliver engaging, in-classroom art education to students. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values creativity, and is excited to foster artistic expression in a supportive learning environment.
As an ArtCart Instructor, you will bring our curriculum to life by guiding students through hands-on art projects, encouraging exploration of materials and techniques, and helping build confidence through the creative process.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver ArtCart curriculum to students in a fun, structured, and engaging way
- Prepare and organize weekly lesson materials and classroom supplies
- Lead students through creative projects with an emphasis on process over product
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression
- Coordinate and manage your teaching schedule with assigned schools
- Participate in ArtCart workshops, training sessions, and special events
- Display and celebrate student artwork within school settings
- Collaborate with fellow ArtCart instructors and staff to enhance programming
- Communicate effectively with classroom teachers and school administrators
Qualifications

- Experience working with children or a strong interest in childhood education
- Background in fine arts, visual arts, or creative disciplines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated
