Job Overview: An ArtCart Instructor provides in-classroom art education for students. They organize and distribute materials, introduce lesson plans and curriculum, and guide students to create artwork based on the ArtCart Curriculum.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Teach ArtCart curriculum to elementary students
- Prep supplies and instruction for the week’s lessons
- Participate in ArtCart workshops and events
- Coordinate schedule for instruction with assigned schools
- Guide student instruction with an emphasis on artistic process
- Collect and display student work
- Collaborate with ArtCart staff
- Communicate with classroom teachers and designated school principals
