Paint and Sip Art Studio Manager

Art & Vibez® is Houston's first paint and sip lounge where art, music, creativity and good vibez come together! With a new location and an exciting new chapter ahead, we're looking for a Paint and Sip Studio Manager to help lead the creative and operational experience of our art lounge. This role combines artistic leadership, team management, guest experience and studio operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Lead Studio Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Ensure the studio is clean, organized, fully stocked and guest-ready before, during and after events
• Lead opening and closing procedures
• Ensure scheduled events and experiences run smoothly and on time
• Maintain Art & Vibez's atmosphere, energy and hospitality standards
• Identify operational issues and proactively resolve them
• Help implement new systems, procedures and initiatives

Lead & Develop the Team

• Manage and support a team of up to 6 team members, including art instructors, admin assistants and trainees
• Lead hiring, interviewing and onboarding new team members
• Train team members on Art & Vibez standards, customer service and operational procedures
• Assist with scheduling and ensuring appropriate staffing for events
• Create a positive, energetic and respectful workplace culture
• Facilitate routine team meetings and trainings

Own the Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest receives the Art & Vibez experience
• Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and good judgment
• Support private parties, birthdays, corporate events and special experiences
• Look for opportunities to exceed guest expectations

Creative Art Responsibilities

• Help develop and maintain the Art & Vibez painting portfolio
• Coordinate bi-weekly pre-paints/reference paintings
• Help develop new painting concepts and themes
• Ensure all reference painting are organized and painting instructionals are complete

Bonus points if you have:

• Paint and sip experience
• Prior management experience
• Experience managing private events
• Experience with staff scheduling
• Basic knowledge of social media/content creation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
