ArtX Studio is a creative space dedicated to nurturing children’s artistic talents through joyful, hands-on experiences. We offer after-school and weekend art programs for K-12 students in the Bay Area, with a focus on creativity, confidence, and community.
Job Summary
We’re looking for a passionate, patient, and creative art teacher to join our team part-time. If you love working with children and enjoy guiding them through artistic expression—from drawing and painting to mixed media and sculpture—this role is for you! There is potential for this role to grow into a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Lead art classes for K-12 students (small groups)
- Prepare age-appropriate lesson plans and materials
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
- Communicate with parents about student progress
- Maintain studio cleanliness and material organization
Qualifications
- Experience teaching art to children (K-12), in a school or studio setting
- Background in fine arts, art education, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must be reliable, energetic, and nurturing
- Mandarin-speaking is required
Compensation
- Part-time hourly position
- Salary based on experience

Schedule Requirements:
- Weekday afternoons and evenings
- Weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
